Thanks Melissa / Daisy Girl for delivering Lombi's new tent

    some pictures are below

Only problem being that there is no way of securing the tent to the kombi - i am exploring some of the following options

    - figure 8 channel
    - suction caps
    - magnets
    - additional ropes

As you can see from the photos - if i tighten the ropes - the tent slides from over the rear door

Looks like you need to get some tension in the roof otherwise it will catch water.

I have seen a similar set up where they connected ropes from the top corner of the tent via a short rope or shock cord to the vents where it hooked on.

Maybe a similar thing could attatch to your pop-top scissor arms.

My T3 rear tent has a couple of ropes that peg into the groundfrom around bumper height. You could do a similar thing here.

Perhaps another flap sticked to the top from and a piece of sail track attached to the poptop base so it's hidden when the poptop is down. Also a couple of straps with velcro to loop through the air vents to hold the sides to Lombi.
Wish I'd built a Lombi, just looks so cool... but it would be too long to tow behind the bus.

make sure the tent is in front of the gutter drain holes. from the pics it looks like the water will flow straight in. would hate for you to find out on your first wet outing.
