We had a great time at the Gold Coast VW Show and Swap. Meet a lot of nice vee dubbers a few said they have seen my parts and components on here. The beautiful Karmann Ghia of Warwick Wrangles won three trophies for the day, Best paint, Best Interior and the Malcolm Engineering top 10 trophy. Didn't get to have much of a look around as I was trying to talk to as many people coming past as I could. Great day, can't wait for next year.

Have been doing a little sub-contract work at another Engineering workshop, thought you might want to see a couple of pics.

We don't just do Sliding Door parts here at Malcolm Engineering, we also do some little jobs to help finish off some absolute beautiful restorations.

The customer had bought a Malcolm Engineering Wheel Balance Adapter Plate previously and came back for the service and quality.

The desired result was to make a centre pin 10mm longer than the original to lift the tie rod end above the main beam as it only had about 1 to 2 mm clearance.

This pin was machined to + - 0.01mm to the original pin diametre to ensure the fit was the same.

Malcolm Engineering will be participating in the Brisbane Melanoma March 2019, held on Sunday 24th March 2019.
We will be marching in memory of Lissa Malcolm who was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma in early December 2017, with no cure, Lissa lost her battle with cancer in October 2018.

Malcolm Engineering has set up a donation page for anybody who wants to donate and sponsor us to help find a cure for this horrible, aggressive disease.

I’m hoping others have also come aboard without posting. :)

Otherwise, the only mix so far you have, is just me.....and a resident troublemaker.

Dale, a great cause :D ..... if you would like to setup a seperate thread then no dramas as it may get greater coverage ;) by being more specific

If so then a Moderator can help move the relevant posts to it :) all too easily.
