    Here you go guys.
If you go be prepared to be stopped on the road into town & have the sniffer dogs put through your van.

Lorraine may call a Camp Keen for Mardigrass so keep an eye out closer to the time.

There will definitely be another Camp Keen Nimbin Mardigrass weekend this year, it is always celebrated on the first weekend in May which is a QLD public Holiday weekend. The links below should give you a bit of an idea of what goes on but there will be a new thread posted in the QLD/Nth NSW coming events area closer to the date. It is not mandatory that everyone has to stay here but we are very happy to offer a camping spot to the first 34 KC members and their kombis on our property. There is also camping available at the Nimbin Showground which needs to be booked through the Hemp Embassy at Nimbin.

The weekend includes the convoy from Byron to Nimbin, a local cruise to a mystery lunch location, jam session for our talented mussos and singers on the Sat night, BBQ's and other activities.

I'm not bringing mine as Oliver blotted his copybook 10 minutes after arriving last year & Stoney wanted to fight every other dog.
Besides I'll adopt Rocky (A.K.A."Traitor") again.

    Hi
I am looking at driving up currently in the organisation phase I will take a week off work , my son will start Uni so not sure if he will join us, my daughter and wife still thinking about it. My father in law in wants to get away from Sydney and feel the grass between his toes.
Some like the grass to be in other places he said toes.
So I will keep planning and will be up there one way or another.

    Bombi the very strange Kombi

The Mardigrass organisers ask that dogs be kept away from Nimbin, the crowds are just too big and it is all very confussing for humans let alone our furry friends.

I prefer not to have dogs here, if you knew my Ruby you would know why, she is an Alpha female and is not sociable towards other dogs  , Rocky is fine.

A boarding kennel for the couple of nights over Mardigrass might be the better option, I have details of several that I use if needed.
