The two black things are to spread the warm air under the rear seat to your ankles??
They are attached to the heater boxes of your engine and are for rear heat

    Harry,
Having seen the state of you exhaust system. The heater boxes which I think are normally up near the top, gain heat from the hot air flowing through the exhaust. If the exhaust inside there is as rusty as the rest, you could be gassing yourself.

Looking good mate, Are you just going to copy the cabinet size and re install?
    Should look nice.

alot of the cabinetry is shitty ply wood, has a bit of oak but not much..
dad and i are going to redo alot of it because the majority is rotten at the bottoms. the ones we have will make good templates.

well Martha went off to her new home this morning at Petrie where she will be having a fair bit of work done on her body. was sad to see her go,but about time. will be keeping progress well documented on the club. good thing about having a retired backyard panelbeater is that he's going to teach me how to weld :D, invaluable experience.
    more pics to come.

Hey Vinny is that the standard devon interior or the moonraker?
Looks great love the single seat to bed idea.

Hurricane, its the moonraker interior, however I think there were a few other devon models that did have the buddy seat.

was quite suprised to find absolutly no rust under poptop, was really expecting the worst after seeing many of them just hiding massive rust holes
