So.... Finally jumped in feet first and bought a '77 kombi today. Happy with my purchase. Its had a freshen up with the running gear a few years ago -Penrose did the work. The roof section and below side windows has been back to metal and rust removed/sections replaced -iKombi did that work. Rear interior had a makeover too.
Leaves me to freshn up the front interior and add my personal touches.

Congratulations on your new kombi, put some photos up, under 1MB for all to see. Plenty of knowledgeable people on here, fire away with the questions before you forget what they were.

Photobucket has had serious issues in the past with 3rd party hosting - you save/store your your photos there and then post the picture on here .... the link that is copied for the picture to appear in your post is referred to 3rd party hosting which photobucket does not support (these days) unless you pay them an annual fee.

There are a couple of ways around it & one is to save photos to your computer then upload from there - size has to be under 1MB - best though to try and keep the size to that of VGA (100kb/200kb) or around 500kb ..... size of this photo saved from your photobucket link is 412kb.
