Just thought I’d share the transformation of my bus, some great work from Brendon at BTC Restorations up at Coffs, turning my ideas into a reality. Taking the bus back to it’s original 9 seat layout, adding some cool tech like Wagenswest air ride suspension, IRS and Porsche 944 disc brakes, a CB performance engine, led headlights with daytime running lights. She drives beautifully and is a real head turner.

Looks amazing. Does the air ride allow ride height adjustment?

Sensational. Thought I saw this driving around the Central Coast last weekend?

Yes - the management system sorts it all out for you, but you can also adjust it to preferred settings.

Got back from Coffs on Saturday night and then cruised around Sat evening and around the beaches on Sunday. Hard to stop driving it - so much fun!

Yeh 2.4Lt - it has some muscle, haven't pushed it as yet but you can just feel it has plenty to give.

Thanks Yeh i love the colour.

Nothing is easy, the porsche brakes were not my 1st choice, wanted willwood's but for the hassle of getting certified its what you do. My restorer was all over the regs in terms of set up but it was tricky. Also was thinking of putting the creative engineering rack and pinion steering in, but just ended up raising the steering box as it was going to make it easier to get through. My recommendation is to work closely with the certifying engineer so you know what will be possible.

Reading your resto journey gave me plenty of ideas and inspiration! I just didn’t have the skill to be able to do it myself, but very happy with the work that was done on mine.
