Have you bought a drone yet Phil?

Imagine how many more you could find in backyards, with a camera fitted drone! :)

It doesn't look to bad, Good to get them when you don't have to travel to far to pick them up. What extent is the motor?replacement or rebuild

    Now you are talking :)
Up until about a year ago I used to drive past this van parked around the corner from me but then it disappeared, however spotted in a back yard when driving grandchildren to school. Motor is full of coolant and well & truly stuffed. However I have a great motor ready to go in :)

Looks like Trakka fitted the raised roof with high windows, (didn’t hack in any side windows), and put their sticker on the back, as maybe one of their bare minimum services, at the request of an owner intending to do the rest themself, or elsewhere.........

Change of mind or financial / partner situation, halted the camper fitout plans, and left the vehicle as a high roof panel, so the cargo barrier was fitted perhaps?

    Just summising a possible history......

The history is first owner bought new and never fitted it out except to line the rear walls very nicely I might add with a type of carpet. Used it on skiing trips and to cart kayaks. The guy I bought it from didnt change anything except some crappy curtains, The barrier will be coming out and those giant headrests replaced with factory originals. I have an R&R to fit. Have a sliding door same colour with a fixed window but not sure if I should fit it or leave as is.

Fit the motor, get it running and go for a drive as is......

If you are the type of driver that doesn’t trust the settings of the side mirrors, to safely eliminate the LH blind spot, you may want to swap the panel slider, for a window one.....;)

It needs some minor repair to the rear quarter/ sliding door which is part of the reason Phil wants to change it.

The only rust was in the drivers step where the seal holds water against it - probably from sitting so long in that spot.

The rest is extremely straight and rust free.

The roof is awesome - you can stand up but its not too high.

The milk shake in the engine was kind of amusing. I thought it may have had a coolant pipe leak as it was sitting in long grass making it impossible to see - so i kept filling it up with water into the coolant bottle.

Phil then checked the dipstik level and water was pouring out of it.

Started to get a hydraulic lock so we pulled the sparkies and the milk shake went everywhere through the engine bay but mainly out of Cylinder 1 as it was the lowest point.

Obviously the head gaskets were so useless water flowed straight past them. The mechanic should hang his head in shame.

is this the one you would see parked in Gosford on the hill main back road near the new units being built and then parked down the side at the mud clay brick house at Niagara park?
