Thanks for the photo Geoff. Looks very do-able. I've also got a bit of shed envy:cool:. Looks like you're equipped for the task ahead;). Did the glass etc come with it? Got a compliance plate (behind the passengers seat on the bulk head) for that sopru roof?
Can anyone inform me what those 2 square holes are for in the seat bulk heads?
    Cheers

Hi David, yeah all the glass came with it. The guy I bought it from guaranteed that everything would be there. Lots of new bits as well ( rubbers sliding glass etc.) and a fully recond 2100 engine. Costly, but a good deal nonetheless. As far as the sheI have a very understanding wife as well (36 years this December).

Welcome to the Kombi Club Remi! :)

Not a requirement to actually own a Kombi, to be a “complete member”.... just an added bonus.

Kombi’s do eventually find their owners.

    Enjoy the ride.........;)

Absolutely, to cool the engine. The small fan on to of the engine is for the heater with tubes either side, and switches on when the red lever on the RHS on the dash is in the down position. The engine cooling fan is in the middle on the bottom with a plastic guard over it and will run constantly when the engine is on as it is driven from the engine.

That's the heater boost fan and will only switch on when the red lever on the dash is in the down position. The main engine cooling fan is on the bottom with the belt running from it and will run constantly.

The alternator bolted above cooling fan is an addition as is the container above the arrow.

That I believe is the exhaust emission pump. My original 77 also had this and was disconnected as it didn't serve much purpose.
