Great day I agree - shame we all got sunburnt with that intense sun - next time we must wear more sunblock!!!

Nice to meet some new people and catch up with some we have already met..

The photo I was going to attach is almost identical so I won't bother - I think some others took some photos too so I will wait and see what they have.

    pics

Here are the pics, Daniel and Joshua have been playing in the kombi all afternoon since we got home!! It was a good trip home, stopped in to New Norfolk for coffee then we went via Molecreek and Colinsvale to get home. Thanks to Eric for letting Joshua adopt a Grandparent for the day. It was nice to see everyone even if we didn't get a chance to catch up with everyone.
Looking forward to the next convoy.

    Beaut Day!

Great day - thanks to all the Tassie crew who ventured to New Norfolk. As always had a great day. Kids had fun amusing themselves and adults had fun despite the lack of a BBQ - sorry about that!!!

Good to catch up with Vanders and his lot down from Launceston. Looking forward to a pre-Christmas run and BBQ then possibly a camp over in January sometime!

Great photos Matt - thanks....Joe laughed and laughed and said "is that in a private message or for everyone to see?" - I told him to run and get in that shower quick smart - how filthy did he get today - did yours?

Both grotty and pooped - all tucked up now except Fergy who had a big sleep on the way home. He is zipping around on recharged batteries as we speak.

A great day, despite the weather. Thanks to all and we look forward to the next trip.

A trip in the Caravelle isn't ever without its problems. Near the Richmond turnoff the oil light came on, along with the loud and annoying buzzer (an ingenious feature of T3's designed to draw your attention to the flashing light). Checked the oil and everything was okay. I assumed the oil pressure switch was faulty, so we drove on the rest of the way home with the loud and annoying buzzer and flashing red light (this now matches the flashing red temperature light which is always on), but otherwise no problems. Off to the mechanics again this week then.

On the light side, Alex (our 4 year old) was learning about taking photos with the digital camera this afternoon at the picnic. Here is some of his results:

Karen (minus top of head, but with glass)

Alex's brother Luke, looking quite concerned

    Ian and Ros's son Joshua

Their other son Daniel (again minus top of head)

Not bad for a 4 year old I think.

The house in the very top left corner...used to be ours! we renovated it many years ago from an absolute dump! beautiful view over that parkland and river below! In summer there was a sea of coloured umbrellas at the bowls club and the poplars changing in autums...mmm...magic!
