Anyone have any experience with rebuilding the cylinder heads on a t3?

No but a few years ago there was a bad batch of 2.1 heads that dropped the inlet valve guides due to incorrect interference fit, I never bothered to recon the heads as they were virtually throw aways at the time due to corrosion.

Agree corrosion is a massive problem with T3 heads as incorrect coolant has lead to significant head decay and there is insufficient clearance to smooth them out so they will actually seal again. The AMC heads are pretty good.

Some say to replace the valves but I have had 2 vans with AMC heads and stock valves with no issue.
