So far the weather has not been that bad, light rain most of the day but nothing compared to what is being reported should have happened. Areas closer to the coast have been getting a lot more. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

I'm at byron atm... its wet but not too bad. Funny thing, my mum was telling us how bad it was down here and to be careful (normal mother stuff). Meanwhile it floods back up in brisbane instead. Hopefully its not too bad when we get home.

    UPDATE

After the night from hell, we have never seen rain like it, we have woken to a beautiful sunny day.

There have been some road closures including just out front of our home but clear now.

The Konvoy will definitely go ahead see you all soon.

Good to hear Lorraine and hope it is a great day.

We copped rain for 30 hours (341mm) and worst in a 3.5 hr period over 200mm - still overcast but some patches of blue sky so clean up once things dry out a bit and fully assess some damage outside.

It's just our driveway that's been totalled, we are going down to the gate to do a bit of work now just so we can get the Blue Bus and Monty out, Molly's OK as she is standard height. The rest will need major repair work but I'm just so happy today is turning out to be a beautiful day.

The weather turned out to be pretty awesome at Nimbin I thought. Got a little bit of rain around midnight but cleared up again by morning.
