Has anyone come up with a definite plan/route yet?

Nath, you had plans didnt you?

We are looking at leaving Thursday early, meeting up with whoever is heading south, staying somehwere Thursday night, then arriving Friday at Swan Hill around lunch.

Who would like to do the logistics?

Arent all the roads south impassible at the moment?

Waiting to see what is left of the roads then make a decision.

The RTA website should show damaged roads???

Yeah Mel I had much the same plan, leave my place early Thurs for Friday arrival, stopping in Wagga Wagga or Temora on the way (depending on flooding etc now)
Happy to meet up along the way If you come via the Hume Hwy/M5 my place is not far from the Narellan Rd off ramp so an easy jump on/off to meet up.

The link below shows the route/s from my area.

    Narellan to Swan Hill

This is from the other thread. still happy to do it this way if others are keen

Anyone keen to do this PM me for my Mobile number etc.

If any one from around Wagga Wagga or Temora can keep us updated on how the roads are/will be through the flood effected area that would be great.

The RTA website is unreliable at best for places any further west than Camden.

Count me on on what ever plan comes works for you Northerners - Ill jump on in the convoy when you drive past Goulburn :D

You'll probably lead the convoy to my place for a stopover...which is cool.

Just need a heads up to do some shopping to feed the troops that night! ;)

Depending on Co-pilots abilities or amount of Caffeine in our systems of course. With plans to finish at Swan Hill Friday Mid Morning. Hows that sound????
Otherwise keen to join up with others if already have plans.

    Nath and other northern Busstoppers,
I won't be going to Bus Stop this year due to work committments. However I will be at my property in Cootamundra over Easter so I'm making an offer to you and any other northern convoyers - if you'd like to use Coota for an overnight stopover Easter Thu, then I'm offering my place to you to use.
My place is a large suburban block which will take about 4 kombis in the back yard, and I also have access to the local airfield which has plenty of room and toilet facilities. Happy to offer all this and a Thu evening bbq completely free for my kombi pals.

According to Travelmate, Swan Hill is 525kms, 6.25 hours from Coota so not sure if it serves your purpose to arrive Swan Hill Fri earlyish. Anyway the offer's on the table so if you're interested drop me a private mail with your phone number and I'll give you a call.

I checked the NSW website and the road closures at the moment are basically the Sturt Highway from Wagga Wagga to Hay and the NEwell Highway from Narrandera to North Jerilderie. This is basically the section that runs along and perpendicular to the very flooded Murrumbidgee River.

Everything else appears open so access to Swan Hill is still open for the Northern crew until the next round of flooding comes through.
