    NOS = New Old Stock (correct terminology)

    So to spell it out, NOS (new old stock) means an original part, sometimes still in the original packaging (mo better, bro) that has sat on a shelf somewhere gathering dust for 40+ years, until someone discovers it.....

    OG = original German (part) that came with the VW vehicle from factory, rather than an aftermarket part or reproduction.

    To VW purists, NOS is gold and OG is silver...... :cool:
