I'll leave it to others to fill this out but here are a couple from the many I took today. Sorry... I'm a T3 owner...

    Hi all,
Was at Old Bar yesterday. Love doing the Kombi thing. Does anyone know the official number of Kombis there. It was my sons first event & I'd like to record as much info for him for his future Kombi-ing years.

Yes it was a new record.

We had a fabulous time. This was my first year camping but my 4th year attending. The weather was a real pain with the tent I had pitched for Jon and Sammie getting blasted by wind on Saturday morning and ended up leaking. Luckily we were allowed to pitch another small tent (totally against "the rules" ) so they were able to sleep somewhere dry.

It was great catching up with so many familiar faces and meeting members I had not had the chance before.

Steve Muller and VolksCulture put on a great nights entertainment on the Saturday night, shame about the Volker film - maybe another time.

To my shame, I did not take one single photo - apart from the photo of my set up on page one of this thread that I sent by mobile phone.

Another good thing about the weekend - it had a positive effect on my husband - we have just driven back from Old Bar, then unpacked, then driven down to the Central Coast and returned with another T3 - talk about mental or what?????

Even though it rained a fair bit - on and off, we had a great time. Spent a lot of time socialising, looking at Kombis and enjoying being away from the usual routine at home. On the way out... ..booked accommodation for Old Bar 2010 - Roll-on!!

I enjoy this picture - says it all !! Colourful Kombis looking cheerful in front of the ferris wheel, a real carnival atmosphere on arrival

Good to see you made it home Melissa, it hammered down just after you left.
BTW did the previous owner of the T3 leave a CD in the player.
    Hope it all goes well.

A fantastic weekend with some great quality buses in attendance.
Unfortunately I chewed up the clutch this afternoon so had to get it piggy backed home from Bulahdelah:umm:
Engine out already, so should be all sorted by tomorrow night.

You talking about the short legged dogs or the food in the pan?

..the sausages are called "boerewors" a favourite at most BBQs in South Africa
