I’m out for this year unfortunately........:(

Off to Indo for some warmth for a couple of weeks, and only get back home the weekend before.

Plus, I have a school reunion to attend in Sydney in mid October, which is another weekend away.

School reunion should be interesting - I’m guessing all those girls that had long legs and big boobs............... now have long boobs, and big legs!

Oh:confused:! So sorry that's how some view women in their lives:(. You should be so hopeful to be viewed as a sex object:confused:. Not:mad:. Women suffer this! That is not what defines people & our relationships with them;).
Respectful is the new sensitive new age guy Grantus:D. No boob/physical talk please;).
    Cheers

Well according to Kai, something way more than the present Lanis charges, given his experiences elsewhere.
Seems then to be agreement here from recent posters they're willing to pay even more for the 5 star camping provided.
    Inform Council accordingly?

I should have put a warning, in this day and age of “political correctness”, that the post MAY OFFEND SOME READERS.

Apologies for not typing the warning, and apologies to anyone with no sense of humour that was offended.

I guess it could be moved to the “Crap Joke” thread.

Sense of humour intact. Wasn't funny:(.
If you need to put a warning that your "post may offend" it's best not to;). That's how I moderate myself when Lauren's asleep! Did a cracker 'self moderation' last weekend that I shared with Wayne & Rick on last w/e cruise.
    Cheers

Troubling short dissertation here in .... I'm guessing ... neuvo grammar?
I hope this is not an acceptable trend for this forum.

So what's with all this silly off topic presumptuous and misconstrued comment? Where do you get from a previous post you replied to has stated or inferred that "moneys so tight" and "people think its so expensive". How about instead replying to the substance of the post you read instead of this drivel?

    Just curious, what's a Vechile?

I have no interests in school reunions.
It was my 30th last year.
If I wanted to see them I’m sure I would have contacted them over the last 3 decades.
(Some of them I have - so I don’t need to catch up with them)

I would be going the VW camp - I would, but I have other commitments that weekend

    Good stuff! :)

Bed, food & beverages here, only a fence away from the action. Let me know details closer to the event, so we can lock it in the diary. ;)

Gee where’s the happy easygoing crowd gone? I can’t see the issue here. If people feel it’s expensive they’re entitled to say so, as are those who don’t. Having said that, the original comment observed the landing strip is more expensive than the actual camp ground but has portaloos and a long walk to the shower. It’s hard not to understand that complaint even if it could by justified by the extra cost they’re paying for portaloos. I’m sure everyone will still go and have a great time though :)

    I’m overly protective of Fizal,Wendy and Sarah......the Lani’s managers.
They do not own the campground but the 5hit they they regularly put up with is mind blowing !
I head up to Old Bar on other occasions and have known them all for many years. All are genuine, caring folks that are often maligned as money grubbing, greedy campground owners.......by the ignorant few that only go there for one weekend a year.
The effort that Fizal put into the new amenities is astounding.......keep in mind that his hands are tied by local govt. beaurocracy.
I do not think I possess the patience required to keep putting on the friendly face that they do, year in, year out.
Walk a mile in my shoes.......as the saying goes.
    Cheers,

Cant believe there has been so much response to a humorous comment regarding the high price of an unpowered patch of grass on an airstrip. Crazy talk LOL
