Packed and ready to leave Old Bar
Great pics DaisyGirl, shame I didn't get to swing past and say G'day I think most had the same issue, considering the weather..at one stage I did manage to sneak into Lani's via the KC secret side entrance and do a few laps to ogle the kombis. But too wet to really stop and get out
Bernie those wheels definitely look a million times better on your bus. Must be the darker colour and the ride height.
Glad you liked the pics Nath and same as you it was disappointing the weather didn't allow more of us to meet properly. Next time hopefully
There's always the Bus Stop!
Love the pics, black and white is a nice touch.
Thks Mick - b and w is my favourite medium to work with, hope you liked the pic with K. Melissa
Hey Parras nice to meet you, sorry we didnt stay any longer and have a yarn, we were kind of keen to get back to camp and have a sleep.
No worries Kai, after the courtesy bus gave us a tour of old bar on the way back to the vans we were ready to hit the sack too. Have to catch up next time.
Some great photo's there Melissa, was a terrible time for those poor kids in the Ferris wheel. You wouldn't believe it, as it's starting to rain down here now, probably nice and sunny at Old Bar.
Lovely Pics melissa... what a shame about the weather. Hope the next meet the sun shines for everyone. You coming to Tambourine?
Was thinking about it but Daisy just caught on fire on my way home from dinner with friends and had to get her towed - will have to see what's going on first
Was a real shame, We had been waiting 12 months to go to Old Bar, we pulled the plug around 11am on Sunday...Hairy drive home :O
oh no, you poor thing!! sorry to hear that Melissa, hope she gets sorted soon...overtime calling!!!
That sounds a bit too serious!
Hope it's not too bad news..... keep us posted!
The outcome is the alternator wiring is stuffed!
Hey Daisy Girl.
How did you get the fire out quickly?
Did it do any other damage?
Very sorry to hear about this.
Everything is fixable though - I just keep saying that to myself as I reach for the superglue again.
Well it actually was just smouldering and I had a fire extinguisher in the van so it was out within a couple of minutes I guess. It all happened so fast I have no idea of how much time it took to jump out of the van and get the extinguisher. Although I do remember saying WTF pretty loudly.
Nope no other damage it pretty well was just in that one specific area.
Well my superglue has been bluetack for many years - glad someone else is just as practical.
