The sheds been busy....
The smurf returns...
Up till midnight putting her back together
Back on the road - the car hasn't been buffed yet so should come up even better.
Beautiful. You must be stoked.
I am but still a few things that have to be redone. It's going back to be finished off in January
It looks fnished to me,
Great work, let Kombi Karma be your friend
Cheers, up close there's a few little issues but nothing that can't be fixed
This bus looks so good! I love the ice bucket on the bulkhead! Did you cut that bucket in half and add a new flat backing so that its wall mountable??
Magnificent a work of art.
As inspirational as a resto. /resurrection thread gets !! Congrats. Cheers, Mark
Sweet job, what kind of paint did you use?
Paint is 2pac now. First job was acrylic..
It's at the panel shop now getting a few things tidied up and should get her back soon.
Yep, I cut the bucket in half and welded a back and a couple of mounts to the bulkhead.
Thanks for all the comments
Loved going through your tread mate, that had some twists and turns for sure!,
Looks fantastic job - well done
Thanks, yeah it's a shame to sell her but. I have just purchased a new bike and have my eye on a new set of wheels to play with..
So Unfortunately the old girl has to go..
Great story, great bus! I use to work on cars a lot, but that was about 25 years ago and these days there is no way I would buy something needing any serious work. I like how this bus has been put together - now if I can only pull some money together ...
Yeah agree mate... I won't ever do another resto.. The time and effort that goes into it all..
If you can buy one that's been done properly you are better off in my opinion.
Amen Zeuspig. Would hate to count the hours racked up.
