that price is about right for a descent done full length head lining.
Roughly $500 for the lining an $700 to install it for a full length one.
Sorry i cant help for a trimmer for you but more as a guide for the cost of the lining to get installed,
    cheers

$1000 is not unreasonable 10 -12 hrs labour
And the liner. Its a big job.

Auto pro sell a vynol specific spray paint good quality less than 20$ can,
Not sure how long it lasts but it sticks and covers.

Cheapest headliner I could find was a genuine TMI from George at Classic VeeDub
Half the price of anyone else?
Any car trimmer can fit them , but yes the price is about right.

    Hi
Did the same as SunnyJim and for the same reason.

Happy with the result and a far cheaper alternative.

    Cheers

Why not buy a can of paint and see if you are happy with the result not much to risk is it?
If you decide to replace then bite the bullet and pay as you get what you pay for.
