My partner Ben and I are the proud new owners of Killer, a 1970 kombi lovingly restored by Brendon 'redhotchilliwilli'. We are so happy with it, we have been searching for the perfect kombi for a while now, and have finally found it. We have been without a working kombi for 2 years now and it feels great to finally be behind the wheel of one (though it took a little bit to get used to the gears again) Hopefully we can finally make it to a KC event in a kombi now!

You can check out Brendon's restoration of Killer on this thread .... http://forums.kombiclub.com/showthread.php?9614-killer-kombi-(70-lowlight)

It will be great to see you at more events Leah! Are you keeping the name or changing it?

We are undecided Melissa, we may change it later on but for the time being we will keep it as is.

    Congratulations Miss Leah,

That is a photograph that says so many things, particularly to KC'ites who know of the history of the both of you. Just beautiful…… Both you…… And I have no doubt that the three of you will be a lasting menage a trois with a lifetime of good memories ahead of you.
Look forward to meeting all of you at Bus stop at Griffith in the not too distant future.

Once again I am so appreciative of all the support and friendly words on the KC. Thanks everyone, we are over the moon.

I'm loving getting all the kombi waves again - though I need to keep my excitement levels in check, as I did a massive wave to someone who I thought was waving to me but he was actual just flicking a fly away from his face.
