have seen these on evil bay numerous times. you might wish to check your kombi service book if you have one, then you could go to your nearest bearing supplier with the parts number. im thinking that they would be a stock item. actually i dont think bearings go klunk klunk. could be comeing from else where. i havent heard bearings make the klunk noise. if it was them i think your back wheels would prolly fall of.

    cheers brian

Agree with Brian . Sounds more like cv

Check cv by putting bus in neutral and chock wheels
get underneath and try to move cv fore and aft without going side to side
This may give an indication of wear
Move shaft across the van to check they are moving freely

Drive slowly and have someone listen

To do a final check for bearing remove axle on the side ,jack up wheel, back off brake adjuster, rotate wheel and listen

PS Ive got some buggered ones for a moderate price; nudge nudge

Didnt know you had them Roy

How much F & rear ,with seals . Need some myself soon

Also cvs . Cv only ,not kits

Is it possible to get a full list of all the items you have .
I know prices are difficult as they change but I understand that you have a lot more than is on the site .
Would be handy to have a rough idea

    thanks

Good idea col, save Roy time answering questions. Roy you could add prices correct at going to press, at least we would all have a general idea on budget and you could post a change in prices when required.
Sorry, don't mean to digress this thread Debs. Hope Mr Percival gets better soon............................org............
