    Hi All,

I have a roof hinge on my pop top that has a bent piece of metal and a broken plastic slide piece.
Not a real good description in know.
The issue being now the rear of the pop top doesn't quite sit flush, there is a 5mm gap on the back passenger side. This is not enough to let water or dust in. However it does create a high pitched whistle at anything about 80 kmh!
    This is REALLY annoying.

The X piece that goes from bottom left to top right is bent.
There is a plastic bush in the top left pivot point that has also broken.

So, do I replace this as a complete piece,?
$200 from JK or can I install gas struts?
Or the one pictured above from Breha for $115 plus postage $20.

I have just replaced the struts on our station wagon, $35 each.

Any idea on strut length, both open and closed?
    Fixing points as well.

    Cheers

    Steve
