Hi all, some advice would be ace.

I’m wanting to turn my T2 Bay 2 seater into a 5 seater still want the rock and roll bed option.

    Is this possible?

    Please and thank you

You will need to get your rnr bed "engineered".
ie, inspected by a certifying mechanical engineer who will apply a "blue plate" if it passed.
Problem is nearly all previously acceptable rnr beds no longer qualify.
The old ones you may see have had continual registration so have avoided recent inspection.

Changing seat numbers requires inspection and for a rnr bed to be certified for passengers you need a full steel frame as a rough starting point.
The easiest and probably cheapest options are the ADR compliant units from just kampers or the unit made by Jamie at custom Kombi in gold coast. ( NOT mob by similar name in NSW.)
There are threads covering both on kc.

@Petra No just the RNR which fold from a three seater to a bed.

As long as it's configured as full width bed.
3 point belts each side and lap sash centre.

@cbus Would it be just a lap belt in the centre seato_O
As mentioned above:rolleyes: a full width RNR would give you a three seater back seat

    Bugger.
    Yep.
    Meant just a lap belt.
    That was usual setup .
    Haven't checked if any changes.
