Took girl friend on a long weekend trip to Mudgee chasing some smooth reds. Stayed at Kelly's Irish pub on main street coz they had Guinness on tap and the bistro served pies with Guinness, mash and peas. The side walk cafe coffee culture for breakfast rivals Sydney, food is fabulous. And in the words of Bob Dylan, we spent 3 days knock, knock, knock'n on cellars doors. Got some Mudgee Mud from the main street too.

    Hey Oldman,
I was at Waves camp ground Wednesday until Sunday. Surfed Big Hill every morning and afternoon, heaps of sand in all the breaks up here, Plomer, Big Hill Delicate and racecourse, it's been cranking

jump in the bus and head up ;););););)

Big Hill only had an average of 10 in the water at any one time and no aggro all nice surfers. Delicate Nobbies is closer to waves than Big Hill but Big hill had better waves.
I have been travelling up and down Plomer road in the 4WD for years, this time I took Milly and travelled up the highway to Cresent then down past racecourse to waves.

    See you at Oldbar brother.

Needed to get away, cabin fever setting in.
Decided on River Wood Downs Monkerai north of Stroud
About 15km off the Buckets Way (dirt road)
Great weather, great place on the upper Karuah river.

You are going to make the Mexicans down south in CoVidoria a bit jealous, as that’s way more than 5km from home, with those pics...:(

Riverwood Downs is a nice family camping spot. Can get crowded in peak times.
You can hire tyres and ride the rapids down the river.
Looks like you got a nice quiet time.
