Newb question! When I close the sliding door slowly (but firmly) the rear hooky-thing doesn't seem to align (vertically) with the knob it needs to hook onto on the rear of the sliding door.
I can shut the door if I slam it, but can the alignment be adjusted or does something need replacing?

    could be a few things.
    my suggestion would be
adjust front and rear striker plates so that door gaps are as close to even as poss and waist line is level on door and front/rear panels.
    when closed

then if the catch is high or low. adjust roller bracket spacers [lower]or the door mounted catch[4 bolts on inside of door ] to match up.

    should get things close.

plenty of innox on the mechanisms and hinge as well.

check for wear on the hinge and its possible to have a bent lower roller carrier.

think theres a good adjustment thread by Doc.
