And here’s Harry’s plates. Fairly neat compared to others by the looks of it!

Note how the Sopru plate modifies the seating capacity from 2 to 4....

    Thanks Buggergary. Did you vote?
Yours is another with no stamped month in front of '76 like Barrys.

Now to introduce something my OCD sees;).
Stamped numbers at the bottom of those plates.
All read 2382 as the first 4 numbers.
    Barry has 081253 ?/76
    Mr Beckstar 100829 6/76
    David has 147234 10/76
    Buggergary 158331 late/76
And might I say Buggergary whilst your apprentice failed in getting the month stamped before engraved '76 he sure turned up when he stamped those lower numbers:D.
Also a font difference between Barrys & the rest. What month manufacture @Barry?
So what were the last 6 numbers about as I doubt they sold 46,k between Mr Beckstars & mine.
Another random Sopru thing? Hey...just go & stamp some numbers on that plate:p?
I've said elsewhere here that Buggergary is late 76 so that follows my number as does Mr Beckstars follow Barrys if Barrys is early 76.
    Cheers

    I thought they were 236 2... o_O

    2- Type 2
    3- Transporter with Windows
    6- 1976...

But I stand to be corrected....

If there is a difference of one month between the Australian compliance plate and sopru plate on Mr beckstar then Buggergary would be about 12/76 on is sopru plate.

@David H , the last six numbers are indeed successive for each chassis made. Don’t forget it’s worldwide, not just Australia.

Ah, I get it:). It's a repeat of the chassis number & yes Grantus it'd be 236 to younger eyes;).
    Cheers
