A long time ago I had an idea, finally I have worked out how to do it. It's not finished and still in development. But here are some progress shots

Buried in a corner I had a special sewing machine I nearly sold. Lucky I didn't I need it to topstitch the bags...:)

I am planning shoulder bags and full vehicle duffel bags in split and bays.
It's been fun designing and exciting to put the first one together..I need to make some small refinements in the pattern, but this is the first prototype. Just needs a lining and a shoulder strap. should also be able to make them look like peoples kombis.

    Hey Necro,

Are you talking duffel bags just in vinyl, or in real canvas ???

That cord *is* a shocker - but the bag is awesome!! What sort of price range do you think they will be in?

Yes mate - any conceptual design drawings of the duffel bags?

Vinyl, canvas? - from your previous achievements should everyone not expect leather??

Wife says she wants one as long as it's a long enough strap to wear over body/shoulder :)

Hmm a certain teenager has used all my download so I missed most of these replies. Thanks for the comments. At the moment I get a few hours a week to work on these, so it will take a while to develop all the ideas. I have to refine this one first. :) work out the strap. I am thinking seat belt for the strap. It will be a shoulder bag.

Bay bag is next, duffel long term. I have thought of leather and will probably have both vinyl and leather for shoulder bags. Leather does cost more but it last longer and feels better. I haven't worked out the price and won't till I have made at least two or three. The first one takes ages. I want to try and keep the cost down hence the simplified design, tried hard to not go overboard with detail.

I like the canvas idea but the range of colours in canvas isn't big. So I will have to research the canvas. I also have to look into clasps, rings and so on, so a lot to do. But I am glad people like them, helps to continue developing with a few positives. :)

Oh and the power cord. Hmmm Yup I should fix it. It goes to a light with no switch. Every time I unplug it I wonder if I will get electrocuted. Now I feel embarrassed that's much worse than being unsafe. I better fix it...;)
