Hey guys I unfortunately have some bad news to report, within the last 3-4 weeks I am not completely sure of the exact date but our Kombi tent has been taken from the front of our shed, its unusual in the fact that we are quite rural living in Central Tilba and the shed was open which generally means we are home, it had sat on our kombi's racks for the last couple of years as I have had the engine out, 4 weeks ago I reinstalled the engine, got the bus running and drove it out of the shed to wash the two years of dust from it, I took the tent off then and lent it against the racking system we have right near the roller door, earlier this week I went to get the two figure 8 sail track strips out of the bag to try another awing to see if I could use the track for both and that is when I realised that it was missing, there are two bags one for the poles and ropes and another for the tent itself, ti has a separate room also in it, I am sure that there are not many if any others in the country so I ask if you see one being advertised please contact me, you can see the tent on my racks when we were on our way to Mallacoota and when we had it set up at Nambucca, I expect whoever has taken it wont even realise what it is or how bloody expensive it was, appreciate your help with this one, cheers Greg

No Melissa that’s the strange thing, as like most people that have trade backgrounds and play with cars the shed is loaded, they were possibly disturbed, I don’t know, just hope that they are not going to come back, I appreciate everyone keeping their eyes open for it, cheers Greg

Hey guys there is good and bad news on the stolen tent, the good news is that the tent has finally resurfaced, the bad news is that looks like I have an early onset of dementia, turns out it wasn't stolen but misplaced by the village idiot, me, we have a small Avan that I dragged down from on top of the hill and l gave it a good clean and then opened the front trunk and well how embarrassment, there the vintage tent lays, I don't even remember putting it in there, so thanks everyone but you can now stop looking, i'm just off to hide in a corner, ha, cheers Greg

Wayne the landscaping is one of my next jobs so yes plenty of rocks here, ha, Mark thanks,I have broad shoulders and not a fan of bullshitting so there you go, its here out in the open, ha, also very relieved that we were not broken into which initially came as a bit of a shock as where we are is rural so that is also a good thing, cheers

A bit like me when back in May I stumbled across the 'safe place' that I had securely stored the rear wheel bearing circlips so they would not get lost... all those months ago. ;)
Still gotta find the fan bolts though. :(
