Hello to my new extended family.I'm attempting to put a type three gearbox in 63 bus and before I begin cutting and altering I want to understand something .If the type 3 gearbox is shorter (axle end to axle end)than the original(reduction boxes) and I extend axle tubes/housing by say 30mm each, how can the type3 drums possibly fit on if roughly Ive removed 80mm from the spline length ? I have heard of spacers but really................ Love to hear from any one who could give me some tips. Thanks
