IMG_2093.JPG IMG_2092.JPG IMG_2091.JPG IMG_2090.JPG IMG_2088.JPG Over XMAS a bunch of us T3 guys gathered for a BBQ & camp over at Andy Ho's property at Maraylya
We discussed making this an event however T3 specific. Instead of gathering at Andys place we have been offered an excellent facility at Amaroo Park coincidently where Andy has his workshop. There is excellent facilities such as Toilets & Showers, covered gathering area with BBQ power & lights, excellent camping area.
We are thinking the format be the same as the last one ie:
Arrive anytime after Lunch Saturday, set up camp then kick back and relax, BBQ and talk VW. We will also have a big screen and ability to screen some entertaining VW content as well as music late into the night for those who want to stay up late. Leave when you like on the Sunday. The whole compound will be fully secured.

I'd like to be able to choose multiple dates as any weekend would be great for us

Just checked with the boss - March is a busy weekend month for us.

    However, I can do March 21 :D

A very brief break in responsibilities

Hey Rick we decided to keep it a T3 event not to be snobby or anything but we are trying to build a strong T3 culture. Whilst there are many T3 owners on KC and other sites we dont seem to be very organised when it comes to getting together. So we saw this as a way of encouraging the T3's guys & gals to get together and proudly show off their vans and handiwork no matter what stage the van is in. Its not a show & shine. A great opportunity to learn from each other as the issues faced by T3 ownership can be challenging.

You’d be bored listening about coolant issues, aircon, and handling tips of a bus at speed...... ;)

Yes you can, and would be most welcome! :)

I’m encouraging the event, even though March is out for me work wise, and I’m not able to attend.....:(

Well considering I spent most of my late working life lecturing in TAFE post trade classes on automotive issues including handling, cooling issues, fuel injection (including K-Jetronic, also KE-Jetronic ie Porsche, L-jetronicc, LE- Jetronic and Motoronic ) and running air con courses for compliance and auto electrical trade courses your probably right, it'd be the same boring stuff I retired from.
