A few more additions to the T3
Tidied up inside the glove box, old foam falling apart, so re-painted a light colour inside. Added some extra pockets to the front doors! Put a battery matt under the battery, mean to help prevent corrosion (also re-painted in there), patched up the door plastic/liner.
And have the rust protection gizmo hooked up!

Still a bit to go, but coming together nicely!!

Couple more, inside glove box and covers over the rear vents!

Unfortunately some of my other purchases/upgrades are running late, so will not get to them this week.

Wondering why you would need covers over the rear vents.

    Agree.....o_O

Richard, you are aware that the right side vent feeds the air required into the engine?

Haha, just re-looked at that picture and is a little deceiving, looks like I picked just the right angle. Common on T2's, "elephant ears" or "air scoops" .
The original vent is still open, so would not hinder air flow in or out, but helps prevent crap getting down the vent when your parked (leaves etc). Would keep some rain out when parked also.

Yes RHS is your air intake, LHS vents heat from the engine bay when stationary, so both sides are important!

Dash tray mounted with extra lights and cigarette lighters.
Not a great picture, but all the new lights in the front cab turned on :)

Time to madly get the bus back together and make it drivable again!!

I checked out the ol syncro at Mc Valla and its looking very gadget filled - maybe some Sebastian influence?

I know mine has a few of his ideas.

Only a start Scott, more to come. Glad I did the run down to blow out the cobwebs! Little more tidying up tomorrow then packing for 5 days on Morton!!
Yes, plenty of ideas from everybody. All the work I have done previously has been mechanical preventative maintenance, so nice to do some work to make it more user friendly.

I did Moreton in my syncro - an excellent island - you should have lots of fun in your beast!

Take lots of syncro photos and post them up :D
