Bought this the other day for the princely sum of $1.

Motor doesn't turn over, possibly just the flat battery and has a major rust issue in guttering under the pop top.

Still, for a buck I don't really care.

    Some pics.....

Everyone only looks at the purchase price, but the real expense is the resto cost - and it will probably cost you heaps. So it isn't really a bargain, in fact it is a future debt and a liability. But the good news is that you could probably flip it, say for $10 (that is a 900% profit!) ;)

Well done Jon, and congratulations .... I hope you plan to keep the paintwork, I think the flowers look great.

Good idea Don,Jono could drive around in the pink mumu that he nicked off Neen whilst i sit in the back using Neens scrapping gear.Perhaps you and the Terrordales could come along for a run and eat dog bickies out of the teddy bear tin that Jono nicked off Sammie, while she was snoozing on our daybed in the night after a few wines:rolleyes: .
Does any of this make sense ?

Excellent score Jono. Glad it all worked out well in the end.

Mel (my boss) said she knows the girl that previously ran that business and the kombi was at Old Bar about 3 years ago looking pretty good. Shame they let the old girl run down so much in such a short time.

    Any names yet Jono?

    Cheers,

    No names yet Scott.

The body I think is too far gone but I have a few ideas bouncing around in my head, from parting it out to making a single cab ute.

    Don- You cheeky bastard
    Jay- You cheeky bastard.

As for the frangipani artwork, its one of those massive sticker things that will peel off.
