    the whole monarchy thing is waaaaaay past its used by date anyway . maybe it had some relevence back in the middle ages , but this is the 21st century :umm: .

    call me a killjoy , but the whole thing has annoyed me to be honest :wtf:

    Yaaaay Justin. I was gonna say this last night. Couldn't care less and George Negus and Kerry O'Brien should be ashamed of themselves for pandering to such antiquated frou frou. If you lived near me I'd say let's go to the pub till it's all over.

    Monarchy things does not bother me BUT all this wedding stuff I'm over, don't follow the football either so looks like a DVD night tonight.

    Hell to wedding of the century - there's still 89 years to go and we'll have had either our BBQ or Planting by then and surely another royal will marry in that time.

    I feel even more strongly about monarchies. The whole royal class thing is based on the premise that some one is born more special, better and above everybody else. This is a perverse concept in this day and age (and it was perverse 500 years ago, too).

    The other thing that is perverse is that all the wealth and gazillions stashed away in Swiss bank accounts came from taxing the poor (the commoner) over 100's and 100's of years. Or spoils of war, etc. William or any other 'royal' is no different to Joe Blogs down the road, except he was born in that class system that I hate.

    The millions of pounds being spent on this wedding (paid by UK taxpayers) should be going to schools, hospitals, etc.

    End of rant...

    Excuse my pun, but who will get all the "royalties" from the merchandise sold?

    I concur with above mentioned opinions.

    Laughed when someone was asked what advise one would give to princess Kate, the reply?? "WEAR A SEAT BELT"!!! must admit, its in poor taste, but royalty pisses me off.

    Heard on the wireless last night;

    "I see that she is breaking with tradition and wearing a seat belt."
