    Hi Guys,

I bought a kombi from a fellow KC club member. My 2 year old daughter calls it Thombie and the name has stuck. Anyway I'm have some paint / body work done and thought I'd wack up the photos of its progress. Hope you enjoy.

I'll start with the before photos:

Overall it was in great original condition, with some rust issues in both steps and the passenger A pillar, these have now been repaired, here are the steps:

I'm going to be keeping the same base "bronco brown" brick red colour but a two tone roof, that way I've not had to have the engine bay done as it was clean. The insides have only had a light touch up. More body work done here and you can see the colour from the insides spray

yeah 74westy, planing on having it it put back together on saturday, maybe i should get some rest. I have a camera and would film it, if it's not complete I might have to follow along in a holden :(

thanks for the comments. I'll post more pics and I'll probably be asking some tech questions soon as I want to take a 2 or 3 inches from the height before the interior gets tackled

I miss the "bow tie emblem" your painter put on it. Looking great and that look on the daughters face says it all.
