My middle seat has had a few little tears put into it (which of course no children know ANYTHING about!!), and I was reading about the TMI Car Seat Covers.

Does anyone have these and do they just fit over your existing seat? I just want to get something that will do for a few years without having to get the whole seat re-upholstered, because other than the little tears, they're in good nick.

Any photos would be great too. What sort of cost are we talking about too?

    Thanks. :)

IMO, TMI is the standard for original replacement seat covers, so they serve much better than just as temp covers. Ergo, you will expect to pay a bit more for them. I believe Vintage Veedub is one of the dealers in Oz, so they should be able to give you a price on them.

(They are not meant to go over existing covers)

I've just ordered some from classic vee dub. :D
They are seat upholstery, so they need to be put on properly (remove old upholstery, maybe fix foam and springs underneath, etc.)
You can put them onto the seat yourself, or get an upholsterer to do it (i've heard they don't charge much).
I got the two front seats in off-white basket weave, and they're costing $260 shipped to Brisbane.

    TMI.

Look great, reasonable quality but Jake said they were a bit tough to get the fit right.

I dealt with Corrin at Vintage Vee-Dub for mine.
