Very kool looking camper

    Hi all

    While i was working on a reno i spotted this kool looking kombi camper next door. Its a 1975 don't know if it was a van or single cab before as it has the walk through. how many of these would you see around?? this is the first for me

    These ghias are fantastic. I love them. That one looks to be in really straight OG condition, too.

    I've never seen that bullbar before, either.

    Offer the owner a slab?

    I know the owner :) yee ha. He's actually in a band called OKA from the Sunny coast. you can see the sticker on the window. nice guy, nice bus and nice tunes :) Lucky Fella !

    Would take more than a slab to get that beast off his hands!

    a bloke i bought my budda bus shell from in brisbane had one of those

    gary told me they were made in South Africa - apparently they cut the back off a transporter ( not a ute) to make these weird kombivarans (they have a nother name but i don;t know it !!)

    That van is so nice inside too! He even has the cutlery & plates with the maker's stamp. Nice bus, nice guy, used to park just around the corner :)

    Just been informed from a reliable source that it's the difference between aussie made and german made.

    can anyone else confirm?

    I heard that too, mine point the same way as the cool camper kombi's. Were Kombi's made in Australia? Maybe mine was?
