Took the Kruise to Caribean Gardens for the VW Jamboree. Lots of VW porn on display and lots of lovelies to talk to. Twas good! Bit slack on Kombi pics but a few to look at. Jimmy Dean Expiry machine Chopped beetle caught my eye
Nice looking twin cab as new condition all round but confused by the bumpers. Had a chat with owner and! It is new. Just registered. 1987 model Brazillian import. Been sitting here a while waiting for suspension and a motor etc. Very Noice!
I was the good looking elderly chap with the black hat and the vivacious partner on my arm! Next time we should pre-arrange a KC meeting point.
I went along to drool over all the VWs that I'll never be able to afford. There were so many great cars there, I had a ball! Can't wait until I have my own to take and show off. Here are a few of my pics. I'll put more on later. http://s1071.photobucket.com/albums...%20Jamboree/?action=view¤t=_MG_6368.jpg http://s1071.photobucket.com/albums...amboree/?action=view¤t=_MG_6361edit.jpg And a closer shot of my favourite bug...
Em and I went for a couple of hours yesterday morning. Some really awesome cars and vans! One van in particular that we loved. I took HEAPS of photos. I tried to upload last night to photobucket, but our internet at home is basically dead for some reason. So once I have the net fixed tonight, I'll upload all of my pics. Stay tuned!
Ok, finally got around to sorting out my router issues. All sorted now. Here's the link to my photobucket album. Enjoy! http://s1203.photobucket.com/albums/bb395/red-scooter/
Does anybody know who owns this van that we spotted at the Jamboree? Em and I LOVE it. It's exactly how we would love Yogi to look and we would love to ask the owner some questions. Anybody know if they are a KC member? Everything on the van was awesome. From the white dash, to the reupholstered seats, to the beautiful venetian blinds, to the paint job and new pop top. *Drooools. *
