Yeah - the short hours is a pain, but give me short crisp days sitting round a fire over sitting in the 45 degree afternoon sun any day

Have memory of my youngest daughter stomping down the stairs to turn down my Sunday morning Bach organ gala. Revenge?

    Bach?

I got in trouble for playing “Don’t Fear The Reaper” by Blue Oyster Cult too loud and I had to point out that HIM did a cover of it.

Got a text I'd be contacted by a representative from Services Australia .... about 3 minutes later a call comes in from them :)

We need to confirm your wife's address as you say you live together but her's is different on our records - like 2 houses back which I quote ..... I have changed the address on My Gov which it has done, the ATO has the correct current address, Medicare has the correct current address BUT Services Australia won't process an online request for CoA  ..... so I then say do not (trying to speak clearly as the SA Rep has a foreign accent) the Departments have a system that speaks to each other & her reply was somewhat jumbled so I said are the systems practising Social Distancing :p and she breaks into a fit of laughter and says that is the funniest thing she has heard re the systems ..... gave someone a good laugh who most probably needed it made me happy :D

She then let it slip the claim I had made would be approved  ..... then reworded it to cover herself with the recording of the message ;).

Isn’t it great how you can’t lose stuff in a Kombi between the seat and that centre console that doesn’t exist o_O;)

    Shit - what a morning.
Had meetings at work - get in early.
Realised I had left my mobile on the bus.

    shit shit shit.

    someone mentioned “find my phone”

logged on and saw it down Surry Hills.
    No - it’s moving.
Must still be on the bus.
    It’s coming up Elizabeth St.
Grabbed a mate and went running up to Elisabeth St. log on and it’s turned off.
Went running down to Sussex St.
No - heading back out along Victoria Rd

    “TAXI - follow that bus!!!”

caught up with it at Drummoyne Oval.

Hopped out and the driver obviously knew and said “ here is your phone”

    Bugger wouldn’t take any tip.

Back in the taxi for the return trip.

best $50 on a taxi I have spent in ages

Of all the times to loose a phone this weekend would have been the worst. I am about to head off and meeting up with people would have been impossible

    I’m smiling
