    Removed old brown timber blinds in the bathroom and installed the new set of white ones :) ..... makes the room look much better ;)
    Broke down the old blind and disposed of in the garbage ..... place looks tidier with nothing that shouldn't be there not there :D

    Yeah Chris it was - don't get around on the day to post ..... agree with the bright airy bathroom as have had to replace the vanity mirror light for a fresher one without patina and also the ceiling fan in both then there was paint the ceilings white instead of the previous owner colour of a shade similar to the walls :confused:

    I often use a light spray of lacquer aerosol over threads to act as a release agent when epoxying bolts .
    Car wax or similar lifhtly buffed.should do same.

    Very kind offer Chris, but I’m going to politely decline. I really think they are more suitable for campers, than my workhorses.:rolleyes:

    I also assume they are a 12mm thread, which won’t fit my T3’s.
    As I understand it, the T1 split up to 1967 gearsticks are a 10mm thread;

    The T2 Bays, 1968-1979, & the early T3’s 1980-1984 gearsticks are a 12mm thread;

    And the later T3’s 1985-1992 gearsticks are a 14mm thread.

    Maybe helpful to you, if you are making ones to fit other Kombis. ;)

    Worth doing. I’d take his more knowledgeable answer, over my assumptions, if his answer is different.... ;)

    I'm restricted to the number of visits per year!:oops:
    Especially with Senturion steel next door and Savers down on churchill rd. Costs a motsa when I get down that way!;)
