If you want money you would be better off stripping it down and getting the case and internals checked out.

Hopefully it is seized because water has got into one of the cylinders?

If the engine block number matches the shroud number and the rod and crank is ok it is worth something. $1k maybe?

Tin, heater boxes, thermostat etc etc is a bonus

Hi Jon, some bits would be interchangeable with yours - if you can get it for a couple of hundred it would be okay to pick up. Patrick

No telling if case is rebuildable ( spun bearing , bent rod?) so its a long punt. $100.
    Rebuildable case $400.?

You are asking how long is a piece of string question! Wouldn't pay any more, The Block is the question ? that has it been damaged beyond a regrind or has it been regrind before ,how many times? Crankshaft is in the same vote.

Depends if you have brought it.
Unless you have specifically stated it's a deal and he has confirmed it's yours I wouldn't be committed.
$200 max was reasonable given the symptoms and lack of acessories.

As advised above, if the internals are beyond repair....... $350 is very expensive scrap metal value!

I've decided to go get it rather than freight "if" he sells it to me even so I doubt if he will let me pull it to bits to find out what's wrong with it. It is almost 6hrs south of me but I have some parts at my sisters in Mayfield to pick up so will get that stuff too

    Arrows show the 2 locations
Shroud and engine block - shroud is much easier to see, but not necessarily correct
