hi brains trust, doing a bit of an ISO work on the kombi, found 3 different rotor buttons, all of which have been used at different times. Any ideas or suggestions on which one should be in an 1800 twin carb? Basically all standard, new heads a couple of years ago but that's it.
    Thanks

The one on the right has a rev limiter built into it to stop over revving, 1600's I think.

The rev limiter will be 4500 or 5000 something.
    ( 5600)?
The resistor ones either 5k ohms or 1k ohms .
    ( Moulded mark inside a circle )
All will work if physical sizing correct.
Standard would be the 5k ohm one.

You are probably aware but keep an eye on timing as the points seem to wear rubbing block quickly nowdays.
Enough to throw timing a few degrees in a couple of K km.

Yep, have had the block break before, now always carry spares, replaced one on the side of the road on the way back from Old Bar last year.
