There was a"stunt" pulled in Hong Kong back in the 1980's ..... more so on Lantau Island at the seafood restaurants - you were given a towel to refresh yourself with when seated :) and again when you had finished your meal :D .... you could flick the towels up into the ceiling fans and see where they would fly off to and whose head or tale or plate they'd end up in  ..... some people had no sense of fun ;)

Ah Allen's Green Frogs - apparently didn't sell in the suburbs where the supermarkets did their surveys = supply cancelled :(

haha hah ........ forgot about them.

In year 10 we use to cut them up into 1cm blocks and wrap the in foil and sell them to year 7 (first formers) as blocks of hash for $20 a “gram”

Yes ! ...but I don’t remember those wrappers......maybe it was ‘cause my parents could only afford the generic brands ?
They were a special treat for our snow holiday. We would have a special skiing food box that my mother would buy something every week for......after 6 months we had accumulated almost enough non perishables for the trip.
Early days saw us skilled in frugal economies ......;)
