well, today went up to kippa ring to finally pay off the '57 model, all i can say is what an increeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeedible model. it is probabely one of the most intricate things i've seen for that size, the detail on the engine, just everything is beautiful. i am in love with it, can't wait till i get my room sorted and painted to set him up with all his mates. thought i'd take a (posed) photo of it, with a certain hairy man holding it.

Can you bring it with you when we get together at Redcliffe? I'd love a sticky and I know my boys would love it too. I won't let them breath on it though! Much too valuable...

That's sweet man, I have one that's similar to that but not as good quality, cost me $40 from the nightowl at west end haha. It has a pretend vw emblem on the front probably for copyright reasons I suppose

I've got a Revel Vanagon Westfalia model which is still in box.. I have not got my hands on an airbrush to build it.....and am actually not to sure if I should. The box even has an entry form for an Atari 2600 competition!

Just a bit of VW trivia for you all who may not know....

Numberplates in germany have the first 3 letters of their registered suburb...so this means all VW's with the numerplate of WOB ***
    WOB stands for Wolfsburg
in Germany.. Home of the VW factory
